BDSM Reimagined was a D/s couple's podcast hosted by Indy and Michael, based in Portugal. The show ran from April 2021 through November 2025, releasing roughly one hundred episodes across five seasons. The hosts ended the show with a final episode and stepped back from public content.

What the show was

Indy is a psychologist. Michael is an experienced practitioner. The show used that combination as a hinge: a clinical framing of why a kink might exist for someone, paired with a practitioner's account of what it actually feels like in the room. The conversations were slow, frequently self-correcting, and assumed that the listener was either new to D/s or re-examining something they had been doing for a while.

Across five seasons the show worked through a recognisable arc: from beginner explainers (symbols, archetypes, attraction between Doms and subs), to the harder "why" questions of Season 2 (why do we submit, why do we dominate, what are we doing with kink that religion used to do), to the more narrative "Meeting Michael" episodes through 2024, to a final season in 2025 that turned outward toward findom and inward toward what it means when a persona starts to feel like an obstacle.

The ethos

Taking a deeper look into the world of kink.

That tagline carried more weight than most podcast taglines do. The show was consistently willing to say "we used to think this and we no longer do," to air therapy-shaped reflections in real time, and to treat communication between partners as the actual subject under all of the kink topics.

It is one of the most beginner-friendly podcasts in the niche, in part because the hosts kept noticing when their own assumptions had hardened. New listeners were not asked to catch up on jargon. New questions were not treated as embarrassing.
